Richard M. Burns Endowed Social Studies Scholarship

Established by Timothy Welsh ’84 in honor of his former teacher Richard “Dick” Burns, the Richard Burns Social Studies Scholarship is awarded to rising senior(s) who have taken at least four social studies courses by graduation; has earned superior grades in social studies coursework; and is considering a social studies major in college. Special consideration for students with demonstrated financial need as determined through FACTS but not a requirement of the scholarship.
